This Sterling character is just the WORST!
After Donald Sterling sat down to talk to Anderson Cooper this week, people have been responding to his super critical comments about Magic Johnson.
In the interview, Sterling says he talked to Magic a few times since his racist audio was released, but then he totally slammed the Los Angeles Lakers legend for being HIV positive.
Well, it turns out that Sterling did talk to Magic, but the call didn’t go well. In fact Magic ended the call after Sterling asked the Magic Man to do the Barbara Walters interview WITH him. Sterling also said that Magic knew V. Stiviano prior to their infamous pic together, but that’s just not the case at all!
Magic had no idea who she was!
So, Magic’s legal team talked to Sterling’s and explained that the businessman wanted no more calls from the disgraced racist.
Also, following the Cooper interview, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver released a statement about the comments regarding Magic, saying:
“I just read a transcript of Donald Sterling├óΓé¼Γäós interview with Anderson Cooper├óΓé¼┬ª and while Magic Johnson doesn├óΓé¼Γäót need me to, I feel compelled on behalf of the NBA family to apologize to him that he continues to be dragged into this situation and be degraded by such a malicious and personal attack. The NBA Board of Governors is continuing with its process to remove Mr. Sterling as expeditiously as possible.”
Yeah, what’s up with that vote anyway? What’s taking so long?
We just want this settled quickly so that Sterling can go away forever.
