This weekend, basketball legend Magic Johnson was the center of a racist rant by Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling, which is causing a TON of controversy!
Well the former NBA champ has a simple solution to take the franchise out of the hands of the disgusting owner. He’ll simply buy them!
Magic and his billionaire buddies at the Guggenheim Partners are reportedly VERY interested in buying the Clippers, which would effectively get Donald out of the league for good!
The Los Angeles Lakers legend and his friends stepped into a similar situation when they bought the Dodgers from controversial owners Frank and Jamie McCourt!
Since taking over, Magic has been extremely hands-on with the team and has COMPLETELY turned things around for the boys in blue, and now he has a chance to do it again with the Clippers!
Not only would this be a great opportunity for Magic to become an even MORE beloved figure in LA, but it would kind of be the best revenge against Donald’s NASTY comments about never wanting to see him at Clippers games!
