Universal Pictures is making an adaption of the ’80s TV show Magnum P.I., which starred the perpetually mustached Tom Selleck.

Entertainment Weekly is reporting that McConaughey was offered the role of Thomas Magnum.
McConagay is said to be reading the script from the movie’s writer and director, Rowson Thurber, who also worked on Dodgeball.
Mateo should be deciding shortly if he will be confirming the role.
