On Friday, the Moonlight star revealed on Instagram that he and wife Amatus Sami-Karim had their first baby!

Amatus announced her pregnancy in December right before award season. The proud parents met when they were students at NYU.
To date, Ali has won a Critics’ Choice Award and a SAG Award for his critically acclaimed performance.
We are so happy for Mahershala and Amatus! Congrats, you two!
