The MomTok swingers are fighting!
Not only did Taylor Frankie Paul get in a nasty disagreement with her Secret Lives of Mormon Wives cast this week, but she has now fired back at the accusations from Makenna Gibbons. Yes, it’s the infamous soft-swinging scandal coming back to haunt everyone again! There is so much drama from the reality star, Perezcious readers… Get ready!
As we’ve known, Taylor exposed two years ago that she and other mommy influencers would hook up with each other’s husbands. They called it “soft swinging” because they wouldn’t go all the way. So, they’d do everything but penetrative sex. (Or so they said.) However, the social media personality broke the rules when she both crossed the line into an emotional affair with one of the other husbands — and admits to having sex with him. She says once. But it was enough. That transgression caused the swinging arrangement to end — along with her marriage to Tate Paul and several other marriages to boot. Crazy stuff.

While Taylor never revealed who she cheated with, there were rumors she slept with Brayden Rowley. Rowley was Makenna’s husband at the time — and if his name is familiar to our readers, it may be because he’s the same guy Makenna exposed earlier this month for allegedly FAKING HER DEATH! That’s a wild, scary story on its own. Highly recommend if you missed it.
But Brayden’s ex-wife was not done dropping bombshells! She’s now confirming the rumors are true; Brayden is the one who cheated on her with Taylor!
How It Started
In a five-part series on TikTok on Sunday, Makenna claimed she and Brayden only participated in soft-swinging twice with another couple. However, Brayden took the whole thing way too far and betrayed her. She didn’t actually name names, but we can put two and two together at this point — she means Taylor and Tate. Makenna said she met “couple one and couple two” in February 2022 for a Valentine’s Day house party. A couple of weeks after that meeting, the “drunk card games” started. Things then escalated a month later. During a two-night trip to a cabin, the couples switched partners and hooked up for the first time. Afterward, Makenna said she started to notice feelings between Brayden and Taylor. When she brought this up to her husband, she recalled:
“He said, ‘Oh, actually, I talked to her after the cabin, and we both recognize that we get along really well and that things could grow. We both don’t want to go down that route because we’re happy in our marriages.’”
Red. Effing. Flags. Flying.
Weeks later, the “second and final soft-swinging incident” happened. That same night, once Makenna and Brayden got home, she decided enough was enough. She didn’t want to do any of this soft-swinging stuff anymore. She threw down the ultimatum for him:
“If this is what you want then we can divorce now, because I won’t participate. I don’t feel right. I was so ashamed of my decisions.”
Makenna then claimed she talked to the other woman (aka Taylor), reiterating she and Brayden were done with swinging. Following the conversation, their “marriage took a turn.” Her husband admitted to kissing Taylor despite ending the arrangement! However, she later found out it was a lot more than just a kiss. According to Makenna, they didn’t even come clean themselves! Sorry, phrasing… They didn’t even admit it! Instead, a friend later told her Taylor “admitted they had [sex]” to her. Whoa. By that point, knowing he was caught, Brayden confirmed he slept with Taylor.
The Emotional Affair
It was a lot worse than that, though! Makenna claimed the friend told her that Taylor and Brayden were “meeting up for some time” at Home Depot. Sorry, meeting where?? As in, taking long romantic strolls along the aisles, picking bouquets of bolts together while taking in the smell of freshly cut plywood? “How doers get more done” indeed… We kid, but they were serious. Too serious. The confidant claimed they “told each other they loved one another,” and made “plans to leave their spouses.”
WHAT?!
Ultimately, all of these actions led Makenna to pull the plug on her marriage to Brayden. And, of course, Tate and Taylor broke up, too. For her part, Makenna could have “worked through” a physical affair, she says, but an emotional one? That was where she drew the line in the end. Taylor’s Response
Taylor caught wind of Makenna’s tell-all and clapped back! According to the Hulu personality, Makenna “never asked to stop” soft-swinging, and “she was one of the instigators.” Not only that, she says Makenna “[sent] HER husband to get me.” Whoa! What?! Taylor then included receipts, dropping a video of her and Makenna kissing, a photo of the pair with Brayden, and screenshots of a text from Makenna that said:
“Hope you’re having fun in Moab. I’m drunk and I wish I was kissing you.”

We’re not done yet either! Taylor didn’t share any more proof to back up her claims, just the video, the pic, and the text. However, Makenna took to TikTok on Tuesday to address her ex-friend’s post — and drop her own receipts!
Makenna Strikes Back
Starting with the text, she showed the full exchange with Taylor. She claimed Brayden was the one who sent that message to Taylor on her phone. Once he realized his mistake, he deleted it off her phone so she couldn’t see the message and bust him. So when Taylor responded they could kiss the next weekend, Makenna was confused and made that clear to Taylor. Oh snap! He also wasn’t smart enough to delete it from her iPad and iCloud, which is why she has the screenshots!
Makenna pointed out that once she and Brayden stopped swinging, that doesn’t mean “any other drunk nights did not happen, or her and I kissing never happened.” It did. However, they just did not go into a room and switch with another couple again. As for the kissing video? Makenna said it was a “flirty, naughty little thing” they would do when they were drunk, either recording a video and sending it to their husbands or their partners recording it. @kenna.gibbons Just so we’re clear, she knew who the text came from, per our conversation. Also, interesting that she knew I was having moral anxiety about the swinging. Why would I come on here to try and hide from anything? I never denied my actions in ANY of it, in fact I said I DID participate. I will continue to take responsibility for MY actions and decisions, how they were wrong, and how they opened up a mess I wasn’t prepared for. However, I refuse to be the scapegoat for their affair. At the end of the day, wrong is wrong, no matter how easy the opportunity is.
