Making A Murderer Creators Are Taking Steps To Shoot Another Installment Of The Hit Docuseries!

But will a second set of episodes actually happen?!
For all you Making A Murderer fans who want a second season of the wildly popular docuseries, well, you aren’t alone!
During a Stranger Than Fiction panel on Thursday, show creators Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos revealed that they’re actually trying to make more episodes of the controversial Netflix show!
The ladies told the audience at the IFC Center in NYC that they’ve already reached out to Steven Avery‘s new attorney, Kathleen Zellner!

They dished that they’ve spoken with her about potentially starting the filmmaking process back up, and are recording conversations with the man who was locked up for killing Teresa Halbach!
Laura explained:

“From our perspective, this story is obviously not over. It’s real life and [Steven and nephew Brendan Dassey‘s] cases are both still pending. We have no idea when the magistrate will make a decision in Brendan’s case. We do know that two potential outcomes are that the judge could order Brendan’s release or he could order a new trial. So, we are on the edge of our seats about that. To the extent that there are significant developments, we would like to continue documenting [this case.]”

But after the popular program sparked criticism of the Wisconsin justice department, Steven’s civil lawyer, Stephen M. Glynn, believes the directors will have some issues getting people from the state to cooperate, saying:

“There is a lot of hostility toward these two women in Wisconsin. The theory is they have played Wisconsin unfairly. But among those people who think and are a little more educated and thoughtful about these sorts of issues, there is appreciation.”

Well, we hope their venture is successful, because we would LOVE a second installment! What about U, Perezcious readers?
