Is Making A Murderer's Steven Avery Guilty After All??

no title
Supporters of Steven Avery have been on a roller coaster of emotions the past few months.
People became intensely invested in the case of the murder of Teresa Halbach thanks to the hit true crime documentary series Making A Murderer.
The Netflix show presented an angle on the trial that cast heavy doubts on the guilt of Avery and his nephew Brendan Dassey, who were sentenced to life in prison back in 2007.

And now a new piece of evidence has surfaced that may change the way you see the case entirely.
A former cellmate of Steven Avery’s named Joseph Evans Jr. has written a public letter, published in the Rockford Advocate this week, claiming that Avery admitted to him that he was in fact guilty of the crime.
According to Evans, who is serving a life sentence for murdering his own wife, the documentary subject told him all about the rape and murder in great detail.
Over the course of the nine page letter, Evans claims:

“Steven Avery told me that he had seen Teresa out at the salvage yard before. He said that he had thought that Teresa would be an easy lay because he didn’t think she was all that pretty or anything. ├óΓé¼┬ªbut she did have a sexy bottom on her.”

In this alleged confession, Avery told Evans that things turned violent after Halbach spurned his advances in his trailer:

“He said he put the knife to Teresa’s throat as he guided her to his bedroom. Steven said Teresa was crying and begging him not to kill her.”

Evans says Avery used a dirty T-shirt and socks to tie Halbach down, raped her for 90 minutes and choked her to death.
Then when Dassey came over, Avery told him he should have sex with Halbach before they got rid of the body:

“Steven had said that Brendan had asked him, ├óΓé¼╦£Why is she just laying there like that,’ (and) Brendan thought she was just sleeping.”

Evans says it wasn’t until after Dassey had sex with the body that Avery told him she was dead, then laughed at him for “for being so stupid.”

The conversation recalled by Evans seems to support the prosecution’s theory of the crime nearly perfectly, including how Avery cut Halbach’s throat and shot her post-mortem, just to be sure, then got Dassey to help him dispose of her body in a burning pit:

“Steve said that he told Brendan that if he said anything to anyone he wouldn’t get anything and that the two of them would both go to prison. Steve said that Brendan promised to remain quiet and keep his mouth shut to everyone, then Brendan left to go home.”

Avery supposedly only stopped talking about the crime once the Making A Murderer deal was in the works. In his dark version, the convicted murderer refused to tell the police what really happened, even though Evans told him it might mean a reduced sentence for his nephew.
Avery supposedly responded by saying:

“├óΓé¼╦£Your fucking crazy, that kid is on his own, he shouldn’t had spoken to the police.'”

Wow.
Obviously this is all hearsay; Evans can’t prove Avery told him any of this. But it might be enough to make some viewers question their loyalties.
