If the Maleficent-inspired MAC collection didn’t tickle your fancy, maybe this will!
Disney is super serious about the marketing for its upcoming Angelina Jolie-starring film, and it’s doing everything it can to garner as much interest as possible.
The latest project is a collaboration with Stella McCartney for… you guessed it, a Maleficent-inspired children’s clothing line! The idea was actually sparked by Angelina, who invited Stella to visit the movie set during filming.
Stella said:
“I’ve always been a huge fan of Disney growing up, as was my mother, and I grew up watching all the films like most kids did. When the opportunity presented itself and I was invited by Angelina Jolie to visit the film set, I jumped at the chance.”
The capsule collection will feature eight styles, including t-shirts, princess dresses, sandals, and sneakers with prices ranging from $75 to $185.
It will be available at Stella McCartney and Disney stores on May 30, when the movie will open in theaters.
Also, ten percent of the sales from Stella McCartney stores will be donated to SOS Children’s Villages, a charity that provides homes for disadvantaged children.
Love it!
