Who needs an interpreter when you have a bilingual daughter?!
Barack Obama is making history as the first in-office U.S. president to visit Cuba in 88 years — and he’s making his trip a family affair!
Not only did Michelle Obama join the prez on his three-day trip on Sunday night, but their daughters Malia and Sasha tagged along as well!
And even though 17-year-old Malia was there on spring break, she was put to work as her dad’s personal interpreter during a visit with locals!

On Monday, White House photographer Pete Souza shared a photo of POTUS charming locals with his daughter (above) on Instagram, writing:
“The President and Malia share a laugh as Malia translates Spanish to English for her dad at a restaurant in Old Havana.”
But don’t worry, it wasn’t all business for the First Teen!
Malia had plenty of time to do some sightseeing in between her various translating duties — joining her 14-year-old sister and the First Lady to visit the Havana Cathedral:
It looks like the Obamas know how to mix business with pleasure!
