Malibu Wine Safaris Explains Why They Didn't Evacuate The Animals During California Wildfires

Following concern and speculation fueled by social media, rumors began to spread that an El Lay favorite, Stanley the Giraffe at Malibu Wine Safaris, had not been evacuated ahead of the fires.
As we previously reported, Whitney Cummings went “rogue” inside Saddlerock Ranch to see for herself, and found Stanley and other animals still on the property.

Dr. Stephen Klause, a veterinarian who works with the animals at the ranch, issued a statement via the Malibu Wine Safaris Facebook page.
He revealed the team’s “planned fire protocol,” gave an update on the animals, and how they are currently being cared for despite the fire conditions:
