Man Sentenced For Helping GF Attempt To Murder Brother's Baby With Crushed-Up Painkillers In Bottle

Man Sentenced Plot To Murder Baby

A 23-year-old Indiana man who was accused of helping his girlfriend in her attempts at killing her infant niece via poison has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for his actions.
Sir Marshall S. Snyder III was sentenced this week for helping his then-girlfriend, Sarai Rodriguez-Miranda, attempt to poison her brother’s baby back in early 2017.

This all started when Rodriguez-Miranda was apparently upset at the fact that her brother, her brother’s fiancee, and the baby were all staying with her at her moth’s home in Fort Wayne.
So, she texted with Snyder for some time about how to best get rid of her family members, and they hatched the plan to kill the baby by grinding up acetaminophen tablets and painkillers to dissolve in the infant’s bottles.
Before they could follow through with the plan, Rodriguez-Miranda’s mother happened to see her text message conversation with Snyder; when she then went to check the baby’s bottles, she discovered powdery residue at the bottom of one bottle, and discolored milk in the other.
Talk about a mother’s instincts!!!
The police were called, and Snyder and Rodriguez-Miranda fled temporarily to Michigan, though they were quickly caught and charged in the incident.

Snyder’s 15-year-sentence is a result of a plea deal down to felony aggravated battery; he had been facing possible attempted murder charges.
For orchestrating the plan, Rodriguez-Miranda pled guilty to attempted murder back in March 2017; she was later sentenced to 25 years behind bars for the crime.
So sick!!!!! Thankfully the infant was unharmed and justice was served, at least…
