This is whacked out!
A student is being charged with breaking and entering a friend’s apartment to steal leftover food — which is already a pretty dumb crime to begin with!
But it is what he was wearing that has caught everyone’s attention!
Apparently the Lehigh University student was wearing a yellow Teletubbies costume when he broke down his friend’s apartment door in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania before dumping all of the leftover Chinese food in a purse before breaking out of there!
At first his friends didn’t want to press charges, but when their landlord got involved – they changed their minds real fast!
Here’s what police Chief Mark DiLuzio said:
“Not that many Teletubbies get arrested. You can’t make it up.”

Apparently the 20 year old student will be charged with “disorderly conduct and criminal mischief summons.”
Hopefully this will make it so this student never causes such a scene in such an innocent costume ever again!
Shame on this most likely very inebriated student! Shame, shame, shame!
