HUZZAH!!
We’ve been CRAVING Mandy Moore’s sugary voice… as if it were candy!!!
Mandy Moore has been absent from the studio for FAR too long, but rejoice! She’s beginning work on her first album since 2009’s Amanda Leigh, and will collaborate with rocker-hubby Ryan Adams!
Mandy recently dished:
“I’m probably going to work with my husband on this album. I’m not sure necessarily in what capacity, but we’ve been writing a little bit together. He has a studio, so I definitely want to make my record there.”
And what will the voice of Rapunzel use as fodder for her new tracks? Why, the joys and woes of married life of course!
The sweet singer reveals:
“There’s a lot to say and a lot that’s happened to me in the last three or so years since the last record’s come out, so I have been writing a lot and it’s definitely going to be an intense, emotional record. I’m excited about it. I’m excited to get into the studio and start recording… There’s tremendous influence right now around the house — from the music I’ve been introduced to, and being very happy and in a healthy, happy relationship. I think that still garners a lot of material to write about.”
Ooo! We can’t wait to hear what Mandy and Ryan squeeze out of their melodious brains!
But what happened to Mandy’s family-driven, restaurant-based comedy pilot??
We were so excited to see Miss cutie pants getting her pretend on! Perhaps it’s been shelved?
