Marc Anthony is joining team Simon Cowell!
Jennifer Lopez‘s famous ex-husband has signed on to Season 2 of The X Factor as a celebrity mentor to contestants competing under Cowell’s tutelage.
Perhaps Marc got the bright idea to do a singing competition show from his baby momma, J.Lo, who made a shizzzz ton from her one-season judging stint on American Idol. It’s also possible that Marc’s decision to join the X Factor cast was influenced by Justin Bieber!
Since The Biebs signed up to mentor L.A. Reid‘s team, being a Factor mentor is now officially the cool thing to do. Check out the sunglasses (above) for proof! 😛
As of now Nick Jonas has unofficially been slated to mentor Demi Lovato‘s team, while Team Britney Spears is yet to be cast.
Just a suggestion: We would LOVE to see Justin’s prot├â┬⌐g├â┬⌐e Carly Rae Jepsen OR Idol judge reject, Alanis Morissette working it on Team Brit Brit!
