Marc Jacobs Bids Farewell To Louis Vuitton After 16 Years!

Marc Jacobs says his goodbyes at Louis Vuitton after the spring show!

No more secrets, Marc Jacobs has completed his tenure at Louis Vuitton.

Though an official statement is still forthcoming, the designer said his goodbyes following the Louis Vuitton S/S 2014 presentation in Paris on Wednesday.

His show notes ended with a final thank-you to business partner Robert Duffy and CEO of LVMH, Bernard Arnault. Marc wrote:

“For Robert Duffy and Bernard Arnault, All my love, Always.”

Despite rumors of inner turmoil, it looks like Marc is leaving his Vuitton family on good terms to concentrate on his namesake label, which is nearing $1 billion in worth!

And for his last show at the historic French brand, the designer paid homage to Paris itself. He said:

“It was an ode to Paris and to all the people I have been involved and work with. This city has been so great.”

He’s had a hell of a run at Vuitton, but we are definitely ready for something new!

Now we just have to be patient until Marc’s successor is announced!

Let the new era begin!
