According to sources, Packer gathered all of her close friends in New York, and popped the question at a private dinner at Eleven Madison Park.
Not surprisingly, he gave her a MASSIVE 35 carat ring!
As of now, no wedding date has been set.
The couple met last year at a movie premiere in Aspen, and have been inseparable ever since.
According to an insider :

Next month, the 45-year-old diva will continue her Las Vegas residency at Caesars Palace before going on a world tour. The philanthropist is expected to join her for most of her dates.
