Mariah Carey Was Allegedly Made To Feel Like A 'Gold Digger' During Prenup Negotiations With Fiancé James Packer

Though Mariah Carey is rich as hell on her own, reports indicate she was made to feel like a “gold digger” during prenuptial negotiations with billionaire fianc├â┬⌐ James Packer.
She was also reportedly angry at being offered only $1 million per year when she earns that much “in 45 minutes for a private performance.”

The contract was later amended to offer the singer $6 million per year (up to $30 million) and the use of a single private jet for herself, her staff, and her children.
Further, the document had very specific stipulations about gifts, saying:

“James shall have no further obligation to provide clothing for Mariah, but he may, as he chooses, make any gifts of clothing. Except for gifts between them for their engagement, wedding or on birthdays and anniversaries, no item of jewelry and/or personal adornment costing over $250,000 will be deemed a gift unless accompanied by, or promptly followed by, a writing specifically stating, ├óΓé¼╦£This is my gift to you.'”

Damn, that’s cold. Or maybe it’s just business as usual for absurdly rich folk?
Reps for Mariah did not return comment, while James’ people once again denied that there was any prenup in the first place.
