There’s been so much speculation surrounding Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon‘s impending breakup.
A lot of it includes drama between the two lovers, but according to this insider, Mariah is ready to stop being passive aggressive and is taking control of the situation.
The Wild ‘N Out host was recently seen at Mimi’s apartment and an insider is saying the two had a heart-to-heart before parting ways.
No animosity, nothing — which is a good sign!
The source revealed:
“She asked Nick to come over to the apartment yesterday to talk├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥that’s why he was there.
She told him she needed to get out of town and she was taking the kids with her. Nick was fine with it. The reports about him being concerned about the welfare of the kids aren’t true. If he was worried, the kids wouldn’t be with her, period. He thinks she’s a good mom.”
It sounds like things are taking a more amicable turn. The two seem to be communicating and respecting each other’s decisions.
The insider continued to reveal more of the conversation between the Elusive Chanteuse and Nick, it was mostly about their divorce plans.
They said:
“She told him there would be one announcement about the divorce and it was going to come from her team.
Nick said he was fine with this too. He knows he really upset her by speaking out of turn last week and has apologized for it.”
It’s so sad to hear about these two and their plans to part ways with each other, but the good thing is that they’re acting like grown adults about the whole situation.
No games, just a mutual understanding. That’s how it should be.
