Marilyn Manson Collapses During Houston Concert After Suffering From ‘Heat Poisoning’

Marilyn Manson heat poisoning concert stage collapse Houston

Marilyn Manson’s concert was more terrifying than usual on Saturday night.
The shock rocker was forced to leave the Houston venue he was performing at early after collapsing on stage during a cover of Eurythmics’s Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This).
After falling on stage at The Pavilion, Manson initially got back up and finished Antichrist Superstar. According to The Houston Press, however, he left the stage soon after and didn’t return. Before he left, the 49-year-old told the crowd he was suffering from “heat poisoning.”

Rob Zombie, who is supporting Manson on their Twins of Evil: The Second Coming Tour, came on stage after the rocker left and performed a solo cover of The BeatlesHelter Skelter — a song the two traditionally perform together.
Manson apologized to fans for the abrupt exit in a tweet sent on Monday, revealing he ended up in “doctor’s care” after leaving the venue:

It sounds like he’s ready to get back on stage, as the rocker is set to perform in Denver on Monday night.
