Marina Diamandis doesn’t hold back!
While most famous folks are keeping mum about accusations against Woody Allen and the painful claims brought on by his adopted daughter, the Marina & The Diamonds rocker took to Twitter to spew some truth…
..a lot of truth!
The frontwoman tweeted:
Human beings are more important than art. http://t.co/JigFs5Ty7M
— Marina Diamandis (@MarinasDiamonds) February 2, 2014
And tweeted:
Woody Allen is a creep.
— Marina Diamandis (@MarinasDiamonds) February 2, 2014
Terry Richardson is a creep.
— Marina Diamandis (@MarinasDiamonds) February 2, 2014
R. Kelly is a creep.
— Marina Diamandis (@MarinasDiamonds) February 2, 2014
Yet the fashion/ music/ film industries celebrate & support these people, justifying their actions because they are 'talented, though…'
— Marina Diamandis (@MarinasDiamonds) February 2, 2014
In any other industry their behaviour would be viewed differently.
— Marina Diamandis (@MarinasDiamonds) February 2, 2014
But at the end of the day… Who can resist a good pop song/ movie/ music video…
— Marina Diamandis (@MarinasDiamonds) February 2, 2014
And who cares if the person who wrote it raped young girls/ beat up their girlfriends when you can go buy it on iTunes NOW!
— Marina Diamandis (@MarinasDiamonds) February 2, 2014
We all have the capacity to be fickle & bought. But you dont have to be – and you don't have to work with creeps. Call them out instead.
— Marina Diamandis (@MarinasDiamonds) February 2, 2014
YUP! It’s safe to say Marina is on Dylan Farrow‘s side after reading her disturbing account of the abuse she reportedly endured by her adoptive father.
One can’t ignore that she makes some inarguably valid points. Why do celebs get special treatment, when anyone else would likely get fired for such charges against them.
We wonder if any other stars will come forward with a strong opinion (unlike Cate Blanchett) in the wake of Dylan’s article.
It is hard to believe anyone could ever make up such graphic memories, but regardless of whether it’s true or not, we must wonder if his career will change now ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ especially since these allegations first surfaced more than 10 years ago.
