No one’s safe from the hackers, not even the creator of Facebook!
Yesterday, a strange message popped up on the fan page dedicated to the man behind the poke, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.Some radical decided to encourage others to follow his example and then turn the social network into a “social business.” He wrote to Mark’s followers:
“Let the hacking begin: If facebook needs money, instead of going to the banks, why doesn├óΓé¼Γäót Facebook let its users invest in Facebook in a social way? Why not transform Facebook into a ├óΓé¼╦£social business├óΓé¼Γäó the way Nobel Price winner Muhammad Yunus described it? http://bit.ly/fs6rT3 What do you think? #hackercup2011”
His master plan didn’t go very far though. It didn’t take long before people realized Mark had been hacked, so the page was shut down and the message deleted.
But not before 1,800 people “liked” the idea! In the large scheme of things, that isn’t a lot, but it should give Mark some pause.
Time to up security, bb! A revolution may be on the way!
