They’ve long since passed beyond being just “those twins from Full House” — Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are running a fashion empire now!
The 32-year-old former child actors sat down for an interview with WSJ Magazine published Monday, revealing in the interview that they are now launching a menswear line in addition to their high-end women’s fashion.
Along the way, though, the notoriously-private pair gave the mag a little bit of insight into their business interests and how they balance it with being twin sisters and best friends, too.

Speaking about striking that balance, Ashley revealed that though their bond may be tight, it hasn’t always been smooth (below):
“We do everything together. We came out of the womb doing that … [Our relationship] is a marriage and a partnership, and we have had ups and downs. It’s been 32 years of learning how to communicate.”
No kidding!
And — in perhaps a thinly-veiled shot at some other product moguls and celebs in the fashion and beauty spaces — the Olsens are quick to note they’re not here to simply push products.
No, they want their stuff to be perfect — and they’re not up for self-promotion to do it.

Ashley said (below):
“We’re not product pushers. I don’t know if it’s because of the way we grew up — we just don’t like talking about ourselves or talking about what we’re doing … It’s not really our approach.”
Hmmm…. shot or not, they sure have managed to keep a relatively low profile, even while building a business empire in fashion!!
