Revenge of the interns!
As we reported in 2015, Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen were slapped with a class action lawsuit organized by former intern Shahista Lalani who claimed the pint-sized divas did not pay or offer college credit to the youngsters who worked exhausting 50 hour work weeks.

According to Lalani, their label — The Row — made the poor trainees work under mean, demanding bosses in an unbearably hot office.
Fast forward to Wednesday, the famous twins have settled the suit and will pay the disgruntled employees for their free labor.
According to docs, the high fashion house has agreed to cough up $140,000 to a group of 185 interns, which comes out to $530 per person after lawyer fees. The agreement has yet to be approved by a judge.
The plaintiffs’ attorney LaDonna Lusher said:

“The parties have reached a proposed settlement which plaintiffs believe represents a significant recovery given the potential damages and substantial risks if the case proceeds to trial.”

Working in the fashion industry is DEFINITELY not glamorous!
