Maryland's ACTUAL Mega Millions Lottery Winners Step Forward

And none of them work at McDonalds, so it looks like Mirlande Wilson caused a big fuss with all of her co-workers for absolutely nothing! What a weird thing to do, right?
It turns out the winning ticket in the state belonged to three school district employees (who wish to remain anonymous) that pooled together their money to buy 60 tickets from three locations. At a dollar a ticket, that puts their initial investment at $20 each, which has resulted in one fat check for $218,600,000!
Since the two public school teachers and school administrator at the unknown district did not want to reveal their identities, the Maryland Lottery issued the giant check to “The Three Amigos.” Ha!
We can’t imagine how good it would feel to win that money, but at least we feel good about these three struggling teachers winning. Not only did they all work second jobs outside of school, but they plan to continue educating children DESPITE the $35 million that is being wired to their bank accounts.
Whoever you may be, congratulations!
