Matt Damon has revealed the secret behind marital success to one of the most academically acclaimed universities in the nation! What exactly would that secret be, you ask? It’s marriage vows!!
But not just ANY type of marriage vows — specifically, bathroom-oriented marriage vows.
At Harvard University on Thursday, Matt explained to an attentive audience why he felt the need to renew his vows with his lovely wife, Luciano Barrosso.
He said the following:
“It’s nice to say your vows in front of family. That’s the point of taking the vows. These are people who will hold you to them. One of my vows was I gave her the side of the bed closer to the bathroom. And if I don’t stick to that, I’m gonna hear about that from my mom, brother and father.”
Whether she wants the side closer to the bathroom because she enjoys the odors that occasionally seep forth or because she has bladder (or bowel) control issues, we’ll never know.
But we’re glad Damon can officially NEVER relinquish that side. The vows made certain of that.
