Not so fast!
Although reports circulated that Matt Lauer was interested in leaving The Today SHow, sources close to the anchor have revealed the announcement was only a move to secure himself a pretty hefty raise – to $25 million a year!
Not a bad negotiation tactic – he waited right until Meredith Veira said she was calling it quits!
Right now he makes a pretty comfortable $17 mill, but we imagine if he continues playing his cards right he can get it bumped up!
What do U think?? Should Matt get a raise??
