Everyone gets emotional about the summer ending. Actors are no exception!

Matthew Broderick went through a gambit of emotions as he walked his son James to his first day back at school in NYC Thursday.

Normally taking the kids to school is James’ minivan-driving mom Sarah Jessica Parker‘s job, but the actress is currently busy traveling the country promoting her newest flick I Don’t Know How She Does It.
