MattyB recently went on the television show America’s News Headquarters with his father Blake Morris to join Uma Pemmaraju to talk about his hit cover song of Cyndi Lauper‘s True Colors and the inspiration behind the making of his version!
His sister Sarah!!!

The original YouTube video of the cover song has nearly six million views, and in the interview MattyB explained why he wanted to make the piece of music that he did.
Here’s what he said about his sister who has down syndrome:

“Some people looked at her differently or didn’t want to play with her. I just think that she deserves to have a song dedicated to her.”

What an inspiring young man! And the best eleven-year-old big brother ever!
