McDonald's Sues Milan Over New Prada Store!

McDonald’s is not lovin’ Prada at the moment.
The Golden Arches say they were unfairly ousted out of their location at Milan’s Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II mall after more than 20 years to make way for a new Prada boutique, and now they’re suing the entire city!
According to the suit, McDonald’s Italy is seeking $31.5 million in damages from the city because they weren’t given the right of first refusal for a new rental agreement and were excluded from the bidding process to find a tenant.
Roberto Masi, chief executive of McDonald’s in Italy, explained:

“We don’t want to fight with the city, but we were kicked out unfairly.”

To add insult to injury, the new Prada store will be located right across the way from an already existing Prada store.
That doesn’t make sense.
Unless people in Milan are made of money, we hope they get this settled soon.
Shopping can be exhausting. People need their fuel!
