McDreamy In Transformers 3!

In strange casting news, Paramount announced this morning that Grey’s Anatomy hunk, Patrick Dempsey was just cast in the third installment of Transformers.

Since the plot is being kept very heavily under wraps, all we know is that McDreamy will be playing Megan Fox’s boss and that his role is very ├óΓé¼┼ôsignificant to the plot.├óΓé¼┬¥

Uh-huh. Well, the material has to be better than the dribble he spits out every Thursday night at Seattle Grace.

But we don’t really see Patrick as an action star. Nothing very dreamy about that at all.
