Meek Mill Reveals He Is 'In A Daze' In First Interview Following Release From Prison!

Meek Mill is out of jail, but he’s kind of in disbelief over that fact.
As we previously reported, on Tuesday, the 30-year-old rapper was released from prison after serving almost five months behind bars for violating probation. His release comes thanks to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court‘s ruling that he should be granted bail and his legal team’s Post Conviction Relief Act petition for freedom.

While Mr. Mill has already celebrated his current freedom by hitting up Game 5 of the Philadelphia 76ers ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ Miami Heat playoff series, Nicki Minaj‘s ex says he’s still “in a daze” following his release. In his first interview since getting out, the All Eyes On You artist noted:

“I am still dazed, I’m in a daze, this is great, and unbelievable. I always had confidence it was going this way, but I didn’t know when it would happen and I’d be free. It looked like it was going to take months more.”

We can only imagine how crazy this whole experience has been for Meek. In regards to how he prepared for his exit from prison, Mill continued:

“I was in my cell and I was watching the news, and they said I’m free. I immediately said a quick prayer, and got ready to go.”

Although his release was swift, Meek is currently living in the moment. In the interview, which took place prior to the playoff game, the Philadelphia native relayed:

“We are on to see the Sixers game, and it’s going to be a big night for Philly. The team is going to advance, and I came home.”

And he was right, as the Sixers won their game and are moving on to the next round of the NBA playoffs! Looks like things are SERIOUSLY looking up for Meek!
As always, we’re keeping Meek in our thoughts as he prepares for round two of his legal woes.
