Meet Sweden’s baby princess Estelle Silvia Ewa Mary!
The babiness’ not-very-Swedish name took many Swedes by surprise. The name “Estelle” is a French, but the little one is actually named after an American friend of the family, Estelle Manville.
If any natives have a problem with the name they’ll have to get over it. Royal Court spokeswoman said her royal parents, Crownprincess Victoria and her husband Prince Daniel chose:
“Four names that they think are beautiful. Silvia and Ewa are of course after the grandmothers.”
As an infant Estelle will be given the title of Duchess of Ostergotland, and, as Victoria and Daniel’s first child, the babe will likely been the Sweden’s next ruler.
So, to sum it up: she is less than a week old, already has a cashmere cardigan and she’s already WAY more powerful than you or anyone you know.
We’d be jelly, but she’s too cute to hate on!
