That didn’t take long!
On Monday, Megan Mullally pulled out of her latest Broadway gig amongst rumors that she had problems with the high-profile and ill-mannered director, Joe Mantello. This morning, The Roundabout Theatre Company announced that entire production of Lips Together,Teeth Apart had been cancelled. The Artistic Director sited problems with the “production schedule” as the cause for the cancellation, but suggested they were “exploring” new options to get the show off the ground.
In other words, they can’t find anyone to replace Megan!
With all the out-of-work actresses in the world, you wouldn’t think they would have THAT much of a problem. Maybe you haven’t looked through your Rolodex too aggressively!
