It’s become quite obvious Meghan King Edmonds and Jim Edmonds are unable to work out their marital differences, past and present. Over the past couple of weeks, the bitter exes have been throwing shade and revealing deeply personal information about each other left and right following their decision to part ways after five years together.
Right now, it would seem the only positive connection for the couple are the three kids they share together: 2-year-old daughter Aspen, as well as 16-month-old sons Hayes and Hart.
But the former Real Housewives of Orange County starlet recently admitted her co-parenting relationship with Jim, sadly, is far from perfect.

The topic came up as the 35-year-old was promoting her Intimate Knowledge podcast, co-hosted by Brooke Burke and Lila Darville, to Us Weekly last week.
On juggling shared responsibilities to her children with Jim, Meghan offered:
“I wish it was better.”
Although those children might be too young to verbalize it, we’re sure they must wish things were better too! There’s nothing like having parents on good terms, especially when you consider the fact Hart is going through such a tough time right now. However, we all know that ship has sailed as they share 50/50 custody of the kids.
For those who don’t know, last year the couple’s son was diagnosed with minor Periventricular Leukomalacia, a brain injury that commonly affects prematurely born babies. The irreversible condition is said to be the reason behind the boy’s stunted physical development, including rigidity in his muscles, weakness in his lower back, lack of fluidity with arm and leg movements, and stiffness in his joints.
According to the outlet, Meghan has her hands full tending to the little one and even offered a positive health update noting he and the rest of her brood are “doing great” right now, all things considered.
But it sounds like Jim has an entirely different read on the situation… if his recent comments are to be believed!
The former MLB star accused his ex of using their child “as a crutch for the whole world to see” while she seemingly airs all of their dirty laundry on her new podcast. On his son’s condition, he told E! News:
“He is responding well and thriving more every day.”
OK. So, they can agree that Hart’s health is the top priority. Which is good, considering they didn’t see eye-to-eye when it came down to deciding whether or not to circumcise Hayes and his twin brother just a few weeks ago.
At this point, we can’t decipher if there are even more reasons not mentioned as to why Meghan and Jim can’t get on the same page here.
For the sake of their precious kids, we hope they can put the petty bulls**t aside soon and let cooler heads prevail!
