Forget Hollywood, now royal insiders believe Meghan Markle is gunning for the Senate!
In a new interview on GB News out on Monday night, writer Lady Colin Campbell claimed the Suits alum has been trying to become a politician — and her persistent chats with California Governor Gavin Newsom have driven him crazy!
For starters, Lady Colin claimed Democrats leaked the news about how Joe Biden refused to let Meghan and Prince Harry catch a ride on Air Force One following Queen Elizabeth’s funeral last year as a way to distance themselves from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. But why do they need to distance themselves in the first place? Well, buckle up.

According to several sources who have been whispering in the author’s ear these last few days, Meghan has been campaigning for a very prominent role in the government lately. It’s Gavin who’s been navigating the actress’ new career motivations most, and things have apparently reached a boiling point. The television personality speculated:
“Gavin Newsom has been harassed by Meghan to such an extent for her putting forward her idea that they should allow her to step into [Senator] Dianne Feinstein‘s shoes, which would incidentally give her access to the intelligence committee because that goes along with the seat, and Dianne Feinstein is a member of the intelligence committee. And he’s got so fed up with her persistence that he has given instruction that her calls are not to be received and not to be passed on to him. And he has personally blocked her from his mobile phone.”
Wait, wait, wait…
Is she seriously saying Meghan — who has ZERO political experience — honestly wants to take over a role that has been served by the same woman since 1992?! Make it make sense!

Stressing how contentious things have gotten for the mother of two, the commenter added:
“They’ve had enough of her.”

If Meghan really wants to have a political career, she and Harry better start proving they can actually follow through with what they set out to do — unlike what we’ve seen with many of their media projects! But TBH, we have a hard time imagining the Archewell founders actually want to go into politics, at least in this way. After all, they walked away from their roles as senior working royals — jobs that would’ve helped them have more of an influence over social issues. But what do U think?! Sound OFF (below)!
