And the drama continues!
As you know, it’s been a stressful week for Meghan Markle leading up to her wedding to Prince Harry due to her father Thomas‘ health concerns and her estranged half-sister Samantha‘s constant interviews with the media.
As more details come to light, we’re learning that poppa Markle may have had reasonable motivation to sell those staged paparazzi photos as he’s filed for bankruptcy THREE times in the past, most recently in 2016.

According to docs obtained by The Blast, Thomas racked up a pretty hefty credit card debt, including over $850 on a Target card, $6k on a Citibank card, and nearly $20k on a Discover account. The former lighting director brings in $1,500 per month from a retirement account and another $2,700 in social security.
Interestingly enough, $1,500 (plus royalties) is how much he reportedly got for those pap pics.
Some outlets say Thomas and Samantha have collected almost $100K from selling stories about Meghan, while others say it was just the $1,500. Hard to say.
Now, for this next part, we don’t want to shock you too much, but…. Samantha did another interview with TMZ. We know, it came as a HUGE shock to us, too! LOLz!
In a video interview with the outlet, Samantha said her almost-royal sis doesn’t have the authority to silence her. In the clip she says she’s an American citizen with the right to free speech, and whatever censorship the U.K. is trying to do isn’t gonna fly over her in the good ol’ US of A!
