Could we be seeing more of Meghan Markle in Hollywood?
According to The Sun insiders, the 38-year-old’s business affairs which would typically be handled “exclusively” by Palace staff are now being dealt with by her longtime agent, business manager, and attorney.

Per a Hollywood insider, the former Suits actress is being advised “on the quiet” by business manager Andrew Meyer, attorney Rick Genow, and agent Nick Collins.
An assistant at The Gersh Agency, which handles many of Hollywood’s elite stars, reports telling a company who was interested in working with The Duchess of Sussex that Collins would contact her across the pond or reply on her behalf.
The insider revealed:
“He filters the deals and passes them on to Meghan.”
So, what kind of deals could should be getting?
Apparently, a second insider said the team’s “role in ongoing projects like her children’s book” is “concerning” Buckingham Palace team members. Miz Markle believes the book, which has already been written, would be a success with the right launch, and she’s definitely not far off!
However, for her royal staff, and possibly for her in-laws, it’s less about what she’s doing and more about how she’s choosing to get it done.
The source elaborated:
“As a full-time member of the Royal Family, it would be the expectation for that type of work to be exclusively handled by Palace staff who balance individual desire over what’s right for the wider institution. It is clear she is wanting to keep surrounding herself with her Hollywood people. That wasn’t the expectation.”
No big surprise she’s not going to let stuffy royal rules stand in her way!
However, Buckingham Palace issued a statement seemingly denying the rumors:
“Rick, Andrew and Nick have been legal, financial and business advisers to the Duchess for many years during her career in the US and remain friends.”
These new rumors come only a few days after the same British publication reported the Duchess of Sussex had hired a crisis team at Sunshine Sachs to rehab her image.
An insider mused (below) with their thoughts to The Sun:
“Hiring a Hollywood firm to represent you for PR while a member of the Royal Family is unorthodox to say the least. Senior palace courtiers have been left bemused over the last few months that the couple have been ignoring advice from their own highly-professional team and will instead listen to outsiders in Hollywood.”
While Buckingham Palace didn’t necessarily deny these additional rumors either, they said the team was hired by the couple to help launch their foundation in the US. Hmm…
Would U read a children’s book by Meghan, Perezcious readers? Is it too little too late to rehab her public image? Sound OFF (below) in the comments with all your thoughts!!
