It should come as no surprise to any of our readers that we are absolutely obsessed with Meghan Markle.
Obviously she’s got style, she’s got grace, other apt song lyrics, but we just can’t stop thinking about her unpredictability. In a town full of the same five stories over and over, Meghan defied the odds and went from a USA Network supporting player to one of the most famous women in the world with one fairytale love story with a charming prince. We mean… how can you not be awestruck??

But then she followed up her Duchessdom with Megxit, in which she and Prince Harry left their Royal positions to return to El Lay (by way of Canada) and do Disney voiceover. We mean… what even is this career trajectory??
So obviously whenever anyone can shed some light on Meghan’s next big move, we are all ears! And on the latest episode of the Royally Obsessed podcast, royal expert Myka Meier did just that — and it’s a doozy! She predicted:
“I think Meghan is going to have another Instagram. I think she’s going to do a Goop, like a new version of The Tig… I really think that’s coming.”
Her own version of Goop?? How inneresting!
In case you forgot amid the 17 thousand Meghan stories over the past three years, The Tig was Meghan’s lifestyle blog before she met Harry. From 2014 to 2017 she shared her thoughts on health, travel, fashion, politics — until of course she had to shut it down due to the strict rules for Royals upon her engagement.
Could she really plan on bringing it back?? Myka has good reason to think so, as she teases:
“I have a friend with a little bit of insider knowledge, and I think she’s already working on something.”
After the wild success of Goop, many have sought to challenge Gwyneth Paltrow‘s site. Many celebs gave up quickly, with Kourtney Kardashian being a famous exception — though Poosh may be keeping its head above water so long simply because of the KUWTK star’s immense wealth.
Could Meghan’s next career move be a plan to relaunch The Tig as an answer?? It would be a bold move, but the Duchess of Sussex does have an edge over many would-be lifestyle gurus. She has name recognition and built-in audience off the charts; she also has a LOT of good will among A-lister friends. We mean, can you imagine a lifestyle site with guest columns by Amal Clooney and Serena Williams and Michelle Obama?? That would be quite a challenge to Goop — and it’s exactly what Myka foresees:
“I think we will be seeing something very interesting and creative with masterminds from all over the world coming together to bring something inspiring soon.”
There actually has been some evidence for this theory. Back in September, The Sun reported Meghan’s business manager, Andrew Meyer, used a company called Frim Fram to secretly file to keep the rights to The Tig website until 2021. Supposedly they even got the rights to a spinoff site called Tigtots — all about parenting small children.
Meghan’s spokesperson at the time told the outlet the trademark extension was only “to prevent false branding, to avoid others purporting to be the Duchess or affiliated with her.” However, that was before the Megxit — before it was even conceivable Meghan could be relaunching!
Hmm… do YOU buy this theory of Meghan bringing back her lifestyle blog bigger and better than ever??
