Meghan Markle‘s marriage to Prince Harry is a storybook romance.
But her previous marriage sounds like it was all about business!
A friend tells DailyMailTV the Duchess had a “pregnancy contract” with her first husband, TV producer Trevor Engelson, when the two were thinking of having kids.

The insider says Meghan didn’t enlist lawyers, but wrote up the document herself and made her man sign it.
What was in this supposed contract?
Apparently a promise to give the Suits actress everything she needed to get back in shape for TV. The source spills:
“She knows the heavy-weighted body-type runs in her family and has been terrified of putting on extra pounds, particularly given her career. Anytime she puts on a bit of weight, it shows on her face, so she wanted to make sure she would be camera-ready very quickly.”
So what was Trevor obliged to do?
“She demanded a personal trainer and nutritionist during and after the pregnancy. I’m sure a nanny was discussed too, but the main focus was on health and weight.”
The (former?) friend adds:
“Meghan may have only just joined the Royal Family, but she always wanted to be treated like a princess.”
Ooh, shady!
Frankly, all that sounds like pretty reasonable requests if a family can afford it. And the fact she assumed she’d need a contract to “hang over his head” is good evidence they were not right for one another.
Thankfully the relationship ended before they put the contract into action, and we’re guessing Meghan’s new guy will have no problem providing her with everything she needs.
What do YOU think of the idea of a “pregnancy contract”??
