'We're Entitled To Share': Meghan Markle's Sister Defends 'Cashing In' On Sister's Fame!

For many young women around the globe, the marriage of Meghan Markle to Prince Harry gave was a reminder their lives could be magical, no matter where they came from.
For Samantha Markle, it has been a revenue stream.

Of course, selling her stories to the highest bidder came with another price — she’s been labeled by many as a vulture, exploiting her estranged half-sister’s happiness for her own gain.
Well, on Good Morning Britain Monday (above) she had a lengthy response to that accusation:

“I worked in media most of my life and in broadcasting, so because my sister is suddenly royal isn’t grounds for me to stop doing all of that.”

Yeah, y’all. She’s been appearing on reality TV shows for decades! Don’t you recognize her from I’m A Non-Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here? LOLz.
She then tried another tack, turning the argument around on her interviewers:

“The media makes billions of dollars off of social issues and talking about the royals, so I don’t see how were any different. No one has a copyright on our life experiences and so, I think the public forgets that within the family, we’re each individuals with our own life experiences. With all due respect, its not just Meghan. We’re entitled to share that. We’re entitled to be open about it and if we can shed some light on some issues for the public, then great and we can enjoy the process. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. It’s not disparaging. It’s not harmful.
For someone to say, ‘Oh you shouldn’t take any money. You should turn down a paycheck,’ well go tell your boss you don’t want a paycheck for interviewing me because that’s cashing in.”

Hmm.
The media reports on stories people are interested in. They get assignments, they go where the story is.
Waiting until the story is about someone you are close to and then selling their story even after they’ve asked you not to — that doesn’t seem like exactly the same thing.
What do YOU think, Perezcious readers??
