Not everyone is suited for shade — especially when it comes straight to the face!
But some fans thought Meghan Markle‘s Suits costar Patrick Adams took it too far when he shamed a woman on his Instagram after she criticized how he looked in photos taken during the royal wedding.

The ornery encounter took place while the actor was waiting for his flight back to the United States. As he detailed in the now-deleted post, a woman was reading the paper that featured photos of Adams and his wife, Pretty Little Liars alum Troian Bellisario — and felt the need to tell Adams he looked “chunky”!
Adams got his revenge by posting the story, along with a photo of the woman after she fell asleep (above) to shame her on his social page. He wrote:
“She reads her paper. See’s picture of me and Troian from wedding. ‘My God. What a terrible photo of you’. I look over. ‘Really. I kind of like that photo. What do you think is wrong with it?’ She pauses. ‘Well, you’re just so….chunky.’ She laughs and falls asleep. And …. scene.”
Followers were divided on whether or not Adams’ post crossed the line; some jumped to defend the actor and his looks, while others noted that sharing the unflattering napping photo was intentionally to insult her looks.
In the end, Adams deleted the photo. A day later, he issued an extraordinarily long-winded apology about body shaming in the media. Take a read for yourself (below):
