It’s a turn many predicted was coming. As we get closer and closer to the possible release of the Epstein files, cynics said, some pundits would actually come out defending pedophilia.
Well, dammit, they were right. And we’ve now reached that point.
Bombshell 2.0
Megyn Kelly went on her SiriusXM show on Wednesday to discuss Jeffrey Epstein in light of the email dump that ties him ever tighter to Donald Trump. And her take on the underage sex trafficking was not just hot — it was straight up toxic!
She told her guest, NewsNation host Batya Ungar-Sargon, that she knows “somebody very, very close to this case who is in a position to know virtually everything.” Um… whoa! Shouldn’t that be the story? Shouldn’t she have that person tell her everything, and she can start outing some people? Or if she’s afraid of legal ramifications at least explain the types of crimes the public may soon hear about, the positions some of the men are in, that kind of thing?

No, this source of hers is less a whistleblower and more like that “well ackshually” meme guy. This insider explained to her a long time ago that Epstein was never a pedo in the first place!
“This person has told me from the start, years and years ago, that Jeffrey Epstein, in this person’s view, was not a pedophile — this is this person’s view, who was there for a lot of this — but that he was into the barely legal type. Like, he liked 15-year-old girls.”
OK. Um… We know Megyn is not a lawyer- Oh wait, seriously? She IS a lawyer?! Like she went to law school?? OK, then how the hell does she not know that 15-year-old girls are not “barely legal.” Sex with 15-year-olds is highly illegal. WTF!

Sorry, if he’s walking around in his 40s and 50s with a 15-year-old who looks younger, how does that look “legal to a passerby”?

Disturbing Distinctions…
Megyn explained that’s what she believed and what she was “reliably told for many years.” This is very important now — she’s saying she “believed” that. She was told Epstein liked 15-year-old girls who “could pass for even younger” and that’s been her position. Really important.
To us it sounds like Megyn’s source has simply confirmed the thing we all know, that Epstein was trafficking underage girls. Hell, even with his sweetheart deal getting him out of being prosecuted for more serious trafficking charges, the one crime he was convicted for was soliciting prostitution from a 14-year-old. So yeah, we’re all on board with roughly the same facts here… only Megyn is starting to really downplay the severity of the rape of children. Calling these girls the “barely legal type”?? No, Megyn, these are the not at all legal type. These are minors who are unable to legally give their consent who got coerced into sex — again, that’s rape.
But Megyn and her source don’t see it that way? Because she makes clear she believes:
“There’s a difference between a 15 year old and a 5 year old.”
Um, of course there’s a difference… but she’s pretty overtly implying grown men raping 15-year-olds isn’t that bad. Because they weren’t 8 or 5. They were the “barely legal type.” This is SO GROSS!!!

How is a grown man into 14 and 15-year-olds not a pedo? Well, the distinction Megyn is making seems to be between pedophilia and ephebophilia. Disturbingly, we’ve heard people talk about this before. Pedophilia is the sexual attraction to prepubescent children, ephebophilia is the sexual attraction to pubescent children. The thing is, neither is a legal term — legally we have an age of consent, something we’ve largely agreed upon as a society. And all the adults crossing that line get the pedo label slapped on them because we’ve all collectively agreed it’s wrong! We don’t need multiple terms to get pedantic about, it’s all just WRONG!

And guess what? Most of society still does think it’s wrong to rape 14- and 15-year-olds! And they have been letting Megyn know it! The clip of her show was posted on X (Twitter) on Thursday, and it’s gone horribly viral — with everything from commenters blasting Megyn to calling for SiriusXM to fire her!

Why the hell is Megyn making this clarification? We mean, come on, girl! You were played by Charlize Theron in a movie, have some self-respect.
All we can figure is, it’s about moving the goalposts. Because the more that comes out in the Epstein files, the more men are going to be exposed as having participated in the sex trafficking of young teens. This is laying the groundwork for the coming arguments defending these creeps. You know the ones: Hey, these guys aren’t pedophiles! They’re into the barely legal type! That’s a thing! They’re just guys being gross guys! Not something disgusting like pedos! The barely legal type! It’s barely even illegal!
Megyn even provides a scapegoat for the reason everyone was confused and thought Epstein was a pedophile! She says she always thought the other way until Attorney General Pam Bondi misled everyone!

She’s never clarified it, I don’t know whether it’s true. I have to be honest, I don’t really trust Pam Bondi’s word on the Epstein matters anymore.”
See the game here? If Epstein — and by extension the men he trafficked these young girls to — was never a pedophile, it was just Pam Bondi getting everyone confused. And when everything comes out about Epstein and… you know, whoever happened to be really good friends with him for a long time… They can say: Oh see, but they’re not pedos! It’s gross! It’s oh so ewwwy, we totally agree! But you know, it’s not pedophilia like with the CSAM and stuff!
And that lets the MAGA crowd off the hook. The ones who have actually stood strong on the Epstein stuff, despite Trump telling them to shut up about it? They can say they were just trying to protect children! They were misled by Pam Bondi, they thought it was children being raped.
And if Trump saw everything with Epstein, as the email dumps claim? Well, he was just a passerby, and remember, it all looked “legal to a passerby”!
We mean, is there any other reason you can think of that Megyn would say something so disturbingly defensive of Epstein?! If so, be sure to let us know! Because that’s all we can figure!
