He does not look like a happy camper.
Nor should he. It’s about time we saw some remorse for his deplorable behavior.
Instead of attending the SXSW Premiere of his new film, The Beaver, Mel Gibson instead chose to turn himself into the El Segundo Police Department last night to have a new mugshot taken and his thumb prints recorded, in accordance with the no contest to simple battery plea deal he took linked to his abuse of baby mama Oksana Grigorieva last year.

16 hours of community service and 52 weeks of counseling is a pretty lenient sentence, given what he did. We truly hope that he’s learned from his horrific mistakes and takes his therapy sessions seriously.
