Last year, Melania Trump made headlines with her White House holiday decorations that were, let’s say, a touch post-apocalyptic.
While she def brightened things up in her second go, she kept a little of the ol’ dystopia intact — only this time, the inspiration is more Gilead.
After watching the FLOTUS stroll through a forest of blood red trees, folks couldn’t help but make the comparison to the aesthetic of Hulu‘s The Handmaid’s Tale:
