Maybe something has been lost in translation here?!
French President Emmanuel Macron enjoyed his first state visit with Donald Trump this week, and French First Lady Brigitte Macron accompanied her husband to Washington — where she spent quite a bit of time alongside First Lady Melania Trump.

From the sounds of things, too, it would appear that Melania is on, uh, a very tight leash at the Presidential mansion in D.C… because according to Brigitte, the American first lady is “actually really fun” even in spite of some tight restrictions on her behavior.
Macron told The Guardian (below):
“We have the same sense of humor. We laugh a lot together. [She is] kind, charming, intelligent and very open. She’s someone who has a strong personality, but works hard to hide it. She laughs very easily, at everything, but shows it less than I do.”
Interesting! But wait… there’s more…
Brigitte told Le Monde that Melania has “a lot of restrictions” around her daily life, and that (below):
“[She] cannot do anything. She can’t even open a window at the White House. She can’t go outside.”
That ought to raise some eyebrows! We kinda figured The Donald is a pretty domineering person to live with, but Melania can’t go outside?!
Was Brigitte Macron exaggerating for effect, Perezcious readers?!
Or is there something to all this??
