After all, Melanie C, former sporty singer of The Spice Girls, was the only one to spot the signs that brother Paul O’Neill might have diabetes.
On a family vacation in 2004, Mel noticed her brother was getting slow and lethargic- pretty unusual for a guy that drives racecars for a living!
Her keen amateur diagnosis and insistence that Paul see the doctor probably spiced up saved her bro’s life!
