Kids say the darnedest things! Like “you have a problem, Mom” and “go to rehab!”
At least that’s what Melanie Griffith recently admitted her kids had to say to her. Daughters Dakota Johnson and Stella Banderas had to stage a family intervention to get Mom sober.
Momma Mel had developed a severe addiction to painkillers and needed some tough love to realize it. She confessed:
“My daughters really sat me down and said, ‘Look, mom, this is what it is’. I don’t want to say what really happened, but they were the ones who said, ‘You really need to get help’, and I heard them and knew what they meant.”
We may not know what Mel’s rock bottom was, but we’re sure it was Something Wild!
We’re so glad they got you back on the right path! We know you’ll be fine!
This is a hard road, but if anyone can work the steps, it’s our favorite Working Girl!
