It’s been two years since Melanie Griffith has left rehab after struggling with an addiction to pain meds.
And now she’s back, looking good and ready to get back to work.
She’ll be making her acting comeback by starring in a new TV pilot about a dysfunctional family where she will play the family’s matriarch. After wowing producers with her screen test, her husband Antonio Banderas says the studio is ready to shoot a pilot.
He adds:
“It’s a comedy about a dysfunctional family and a woman of her age with grown kids and her husband wants to be a politician. The studio loves it so we hope we are going to make the pilot the end of November.”
This is great news for Melanie. We’ve forgotten what a great actress she is so we’re excited for her comeback.
