Meryl Streep is probably the greatest living actress we have, but now she has to take on a more supporting role for her daughter.
After Mamie Gummer‘s recent divorce announcement, Meryl was ready to help any way she could.
And from the looks of it, laughter is the best medicine!
Well, that and getting some fan love! Just as the two generations got their guffaw on, a man asked Mamie- and not Meryl- for her autograph and a hug!
Must have been one of Emily Owens, M.D.‘s loyal patients!
