Meryl Streep's Daughter Lands Leading Roll In CW Pilot

The Oscar gifts are still coming in!
The CW is congratulating Meryl Streep on her third Oscar win by employing her daughter. LOL!
The daughter of the best actress in living history, Mamie Gummer, just land the the leading roll the network’s medical pilot, First Cut.
Here’s what the show is about:

“A newly minted doctor who, glad to leave her nerdy past behind for a fresh start in the adult professional world, discovers that, sadly and comically, life at the hospital where she works is no different than high school.”

Hey, that sounds pretty good!
We would LOVE to see Mamie (and the CW) pull of a hit.
